Harry has been busy with work projects, travel, college football, softball, wife, kids, workouts, laziness, and reunions. Here is my attempt to catch up:
Such a cool concept from a good book but this did not translate to a good movie It was slightly entertaining to see Abe go all "four score and seven years ago" on some vampires. Too bad. Maybe Honest Abe can come back and fight Werewolves someday.
Oh the memories. Dolph Lundgen stars as He-Man in this classic cheeseball action fantasy movie. I would like to see a new spin on this sometime.
This is probably my favorite release of the year as all the classic Universal Monsters come out on blu for the first time in one set. Can't wait to see Frankenstein and The Creature from the Black Lagoon. I have not got this yet as I am still trying to decide on this or the UK version. Decisions, decisions.
This has always been one of my favorite Stephen King movies and for some reason I have never picked this up before until now. That cat still creeps me out. This blu has great picture and sound quality with some nice special features. Really nice work by the late, great Fred Gwynne.
I missed this in the theater and I have tried not to read much about this Alien prequel that sees director Ridley Scott return to the franchise he started.
An Alien visits Earth and eats a bunch of people. A must see.
Russians invade a small town and apparently that conquers the whole nation. A group of young rebels or Wolverines fight back and conquer the Red Curtain. Stars the late, great Patrick Swayze and is directed by the great John Milius.
Not even John Cusack can save this turkey. Not even all the nods to Poe's poetry and the fact the script lets you know they are in Baltimore.
