It's giant robots against giant monsters. What's not to like here? Director Guillermo Del Toro has crafted a fantastic story here that is a great throw back to the old Godzilla and monster movies of yesteryear. This movie is a lot of fun and if you like Sons of Anarchy you get some Charlie Hunnam and Ron Perlman love in this. Cannot wait to see Del Toro's next movie, Crimson Peak.
I like these two ladies a lot and this was the sleeper hit of the summer so I cannot wait to check this out.
Holy cow! Universal finally releases a Clint Eastwood movie on to blu ray. Clint plays a drifter who wonders into a town. This town has 3 outlaws returning home for some revenge so it turns to the drifter who shows off some gun fighting skills for help. The townsfolk practically promise Clint that he can have anything he wants in return for said help. Clint turns the town into hell and we later find out why he did it. Great western and it is also directed by Eastwood.
The last great John Carpenter movie, for so far I hope. Sam Neill plays an investigator on the look out for a missing author, a Stephen King like author let's say. When Neill gets too close to where the author may be he becomes engulfed by the author's work and then the creepy stuff begins. Great horror flick. I hope we see this John Carpenter again some day.
This is Mr. and Mrs. Gauntlet's favorite Christmas movie. Now don't go gather the kids and all sit around to watch this as this is the holiday movie you watch after Elf and the kids go to bed. A very funny, sometimes sad, and charming little Brit movie that inter weaves many characters and proves all you need is love.
