I thought the first movie was good but I really enjoyed this prequel as we learn how Mike and Sully met at school. There is some really great college gags here and this was a lot of fun with the mismatched fraternity they join for the school competition.
This was one of the summer's biggest duds but it did look intriguing and that would be because of the great Jeff Bridges. This really had a sci-fi kinda Big Trouble in Little China feel to it so it will warrant a rental first.
