A one-of-a-kind story about two-of-a-kind men who (for
better or worse) changed film forever. I
have been hearing about this documentary about Cannon pictures for a long and
it is finally out on disc. I grew up on
these action movies and still love most of them today. If you watched anything with Chuck Norris or
Charles Bronson from the 80s then you’ve seen Cannon films and the men behind Cannon
even got Sly Stallone and Dolph Lundgren to star in some too. This looks like a good watch.
A desk-bound CIA analyst volunteers to go undercover to
infiltrate the world of a deadly arms dealer, and prevent diabolical global
disaster. I got to admit Melissa
McCarthy is pretty darn funny and this has Jason Statham in it so it’s got to
be a descent film.
A family whose suburban home is haunted by evil forces must
come together to rescue their youngest daughter after the apparitions take her
captive. Another unnecessary horror
remake, there is plenty of old mediocre horror movies out there that should be
remade because they were just mediocre. Why
keep remaking good classic movies? Now,
this rule does not apply to Mike, Jason, Freddy, and Chucky, etc. Keep on making those. Dracula and Frankenstein’s monster have been
getting sequels and remakes for over seventy-five years.
A nerdy boy buys a strange car with an evil mind of its
own and his nature starts to change to reflect it. This flick is directed by the great John Carpenter
and is based on a Stephen King novel. This
is a great horror flick with really good car special effects. Bravo to Sony for releasing this on blu ray after licensing it to Twilight Time two years ago for a ridiculous price. Highly recommended.
A small town sheriff sets out to find the two kids who have
taken his car on a joy ride. It’s pretty
nutsy to steal a cop car.
