New Release Tuesday

Alcatraz is the most secure prison of its time. It is believed that no one can ever escape from it, until three daring men make a possible successful attempt at escaping from the most infamous prisons in the world.  This is a fascinating story and was the last collaboration between Clint Eastwood and director Don Siegel.  Thanks to Warner Archive for this release on blu ray and this is also the movie’s debut in any home video format in anamorphic widescreen.  The highest of recommendations.

In the aftermath of a massive earthquake in California, a rescue-chopper pilot makes a dangerous journey with his ex-wife across the state in order to rescue his daughter.  The Rock vs an earthquake?  I am all in especially with the great Carla Gugino!

When a street urchin vies for the love of a beautiful princess, he uses a genie's magic power to make himself off as a prince in order to marry her.  Have I seen this one?

Bound by a shared destiny, a teen bursting with scientific curiosity and a former boy-genius inventor embark on a mission to unearth the secrets of a place somewhere in time and space that exists in their collective memory.  I am not sure why this bombed so bad because this is a really great movie to see with the family, give it a shot.

A story about a boy going crazy and he shares a little of that crazy with his mom.  And oh, they own a hotel off the soon to be deserted highway.  Psycho presented in the present day has turned out to be a good show and A&E has announced this will go for two more seasons.  We know how this story ends so it is going to be cool to see how we get there.

F*#% YEAH!!!
