New Release Tuesday

Tara Markov is a girl who has power over earth and stone; she is also more than she seems. Is the newest Teen Titan an ally or a threat? And what are Deathstroke's plans for the Titans?  The last Titans movie was pretty good and there are a lot of places you can take these stories because of all the characters in the Titans universe.  Is TNT still working on a live action version?  I scored the steelbook of this at Target and once again avoided any weirdos in the restroom.

Three girls are kidnapped by a man with a diagnosed 23 distinct personalities, they must try to escape before the apparent emergence of a frightful new 24th.  This has been the sleeper hit of the year so far and it does sound tempting because I liked Shyamalan’s The Visit quite a bit.  Maybe he is making a comeback and I am guessing there is quite a surprise at the end of this movie.

A cop with a connection to the criminal underworld scours a nightclub in search of his kidnapped son.  Jaimie Foxx has had an odd career of late by doing more music and phone commercials than movies that look descent.  He is in after the mighty paycheck I suppose and that is a shame for a guy that played Ray Charles better then Ray Charles did himself.  I am always in for a cop movie.

The story of a salesman who turned two brothers' innovative fast food eatery, McDonald's, into one of the biggest restaurant businesses in the world with a combination of ambition, persistence, and ruthlessness.  Here is the guy you can blame for trash food and happy meals.
