Aftermath- Two strangers' lives become
inextricably bound together after a devastating plane crash. Arnold is back. But not how you would expect him to be. This is a nice little drama where Arnold
really shines as a grieving husband and father and then takes everyone one out within
a five mile radius. Skip that last part
but seriously this was a good movie Arnold is quite impressive in it.
The Assignment- After waking up and discovering that
he has undergone gender reassignment surgery, an assassin seeks to find the doctor
responsible. This is from the great director
Walter Hill (48 Hours, The Warriors, Southern Comfort) who has not been
directing too much lately so it is good to see him back in the game and I really
enjoyed Bullet to the Head a lot.
The Axe Murders of Villisca- 'Villisca' is a ghost story based on
the house where the notorious and still unsolved 1912 axe murders took place.
Three outcast teenagers break into the house in search of answers, but discover
something far beyond their worst fears. Looks like a typical teenage horror movie but
it does have an interesting premise of using the Villisca axe murders
case.
