If you like Charles Bronson
movies, especially the Death Wish movies then you need to check out Death
Kiss. The Bronson doppelganger is played by recent newcomer
Robert Kovacs or Robert Bronzi who is out to shoot punks doing wrong on the streets. This is
Bronzi’s second movie as the look-a-like Bronson and he has more movies in production
now so they must be making a few bucks off these to keep making them. Bronzi really appears to be a clone of Bronson
as he has the looks and the build of the late great action star and comes
across alright in this movie as he does not get many lines and I think those
might be dubbed plus he looks good in the action scenes.
We are introduced to our vigilante,
only known as The Stranger, as he takes out a child rapist and right away we
get some over the top gun violence with some CGI blood splatter and gun barrel
flashes so we know this movie is not taking itself too seriously and that’s a
good thing when it comes to B action movies.
Daniel Baldwin plays a radio talk show host who does a great job with
his commentary about the scum in his city and has ideas on what needs to be
done about it. Richard Tyson (the bad
guy from Kindergarten Cop) is the baddie here and does a real good job of playing
a creep and fearing The Stranger who is trying to kill him for some
reason. This is a low budget action
flick that’s a tribute to Bronson and the Death Wish movies and it worth a
watch just because you think you are watching Bronson back in action.
