FX CEO John Landgraf has confirmed the drama series will finish after next
season. He says: "It was really Graham [Yost, executive producer] and
Tim Olyphant’s decision. We talked about it a year ago and they felt
that the arc of the show and what they had to say [fit better with six
rather than seven seasons]. Regretfully, that’s their decision."
I am glad FX has planned out the show and has let its fan base know. The show has only been renewed on a year by year basis even though it has good ratings and is a critical darling and is usually everyone's top 10 of TV shows every year. So get your Raylan and Boyd fix now before they're gone. Season 5 is off to a great start and I am thrilled that the Dewey Crowe character is back on the show.
