A cover-up and witch hunt occurs after a politician
accidentally kills his mistress. This
was a great action thriller back when Kevin Costner was a rising star and seems
to be only remembered for its whoopee scene in the back of a limo. If you have not seen this check it out, you
will not believe the twist.
A down-and-out American boxer becomes involved in a feud
between two Japanese brothers. I have
never seen this but I remember the Scott Glenn poster. This was directed by the late, great John
Frankenheimer and was co-written by John Sayles. Also stars Toshiro Mifune of Asian cinema
greatness like the Seven Samurai. I got
this on order and cannot wait to check this out.
The Tramp (Chaplin) cares for an abandoned child, but events
put that relationship in jeopardy. I
cannot say if I have ever seen a whole Charlie Chaplin movie but this is
regarded as one of his finest and is new from Criterion.
Cool looking prison movie pack for $7. That’s well worth it and you have to love Mill
Creek for these bundle releases.
