One of my favorite movies gets a spectacular release from Scream Factory. I got this a few weeks ago and it is the best the movie has ever looked and features the old and new special features that I still have not finished yet. If you have not seen this do your self a favor and see it this Halloween season, you will not be disappointed. If you like movies with Aliens, isolation, and that scare the pee out of you then this is for you. Directed by the great John Carpenter (A friend of mine, but more on that later) and this comes with the highest of recommendations.
An ex-con reunites with his estranged wayward 17-year old
daughter to protect her from drug dealers who are trying to kill her. Mel Gibson is one heck of an actor and a
director and who cares if he got drunk and mouthed off and offended most of
Hollywood’s producers. The word is this
is great and I bought it today. Bring on
Lethal Weapon 5!
An examination of the machinations behind the scenes at a
real estate office that has one of the greatest casts ever assembled. If you want to learn a thing or 2 about
acting just watch this excellent drama as awesome is what this movie is all
about.
Two escaped convicts and a female railway worker find
themselves trapped on a train with no brakes and nobody driving. This was Cannon Studios’ most acclaimed movie
and features a great turn by John Voight’s car.
When a ghost invasion happens in Manhattan, paranormal
enthusiasts Erin Gilbert and Abby Yates, nuclear engineer Jillian Holtzmann,
and subway worker Patty Tolan band together to stop the otherworldly threat of
ghosts and goblins. No, thanks.
Tarzan, having acclimated to life in London, is called back
to his former home in the jungle to investigate the activities at a mining
encampment. I am intrigued by the
remake of this classic character.
