A sausage strives to discover the
truth about his existence. I am not a
big Seth Rogen fan as the guy is just not funny to me but this tightly budgeted
animated flick made a ton of money at the box office and word of mouth was positive
so maybe a rental one day. I hear the
villain alone is worth the price of the rental.
Elvis and JFK, both alive and in a
nursing home, fight for the souls of their fellow residents as they battle an
ancient Egyptian Mummy. Yeah, Bruce Campbell is Ash and will always be known
for that but man he sure played a fantastic Elvis in this great little horror
flick from Phantasm director Don Coscarelli.
Do yourself favor and check out this great Indie horror flick for a
really cool story and some top notch performances. This is from Scream Factory so it will look
and sound awesome and be filled with many goodies. Highly recommended.
A kick boxer is out to avenge his
brother. I am not sure why I have a hankering to see this, I guess it is
because of Bautista being in it. That
dude is pretty bad ass and I like what he is doing with his career so far. This is DTV so expectations are low but
sometimes these are good and I expect Van Damme to be in it maybe ten minutes.
A strange lifeform consumes
everything in its path as it grows and grows.
John Carpenter’s The Thing is the best horror remake ever. This ranks second on that list. It has some great updated effects and is a
very crisp, horror thriller. You will
notice the great Frank Darabont (Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile) is one
of the writers on this flick. This comes
out on Friday and it looks to be a Twilight re-release for a descent price
right now so I bit.
