A former neurosurgeon embarks on a journey of healing only to be drawn into the world of the mystic arts. I was never much of a Dr. Strange fan but found this movie enjoyable as again Marvel has proven it has the golden touch with any movie they put out.
The Before Trilogy
A young man and woman meet on a train in Europe, and wind up spending one evening together in Vienna. Unfortunately, both know that this will probably be their only night together. Well, they were wrong since there are three of these now. I have not seen any of these but I intend to, one day.
The Gate
Two young boys accidentally release a horde of nasty, pint-sized demons from a hole in a suburban backyard. What follows is a classic battle between good and evil as the two kids struggle to overcome a nightmarish hell that literally begins to take over the Earth. I am loving these Vestron releases but I never much cared for The Gate. It had a great looking movie poster and would be on HBO during the day because it was kid movie, not horror.
Deadtime Stories
A babysitting uncle tells his charges three horror
stories--about a killer witch, Little Red Riding Hood and a werewolf, and a
story about "Goldi Lox" and the three bears. Now, I remember this poster but the I do not
think I have seen this horror movie.
Sounds interesting…
The Raid: Redemption
A S.W.A.T. team becomes trapped in a tenement run by a
ruthless mobster and his army of killers and thugs. If you have not seen this action classic drop
everything and watch this now. It is
very original action and has some the best stunts you have ever seen. Director Joe Carnahan (The Grey, The A-Team) is
working on an American version of this to appear in the near future.
