Despicable Me 3- Gru meets his long-lost charming,
cheerful, and more successful twin brother Dru who wants to team up with him
for one last criminal heist. I love these movies and even liked the one without
Gru and look forward to what he and the Minions get into next. Except I must wait until after Christmas to
watch this since it is a gift. Scored
the steelbook at BB.
Silent Night, Deadly Night- After his parents are
murdered, a tormented teenager goes on a murderous rampage dressed as Santa,
due to his stay at an orphanage where he was abused by the Mother Superior. This is by far my favorite Christmas horror
movie and boy did it need an upgrade and I hear that Scream Factory delivered
us a nice transfer of the unrated version.
This comes out today but if you pre-ordered from Scream they will ship
it early but apparently they do not know that shipping takes longer in December
so preorders got screwed on the early shipping but I noticed review sites got
their copies early. Punish!
American Assassin- After the death of his girlfriend at the hands of
terrorists, Mitch Rapp is drawn into the world of counterterrorism, mentored by
tough-as-nails former U.S. Navy S.E.A.L. Stan Hurley. Michael Keaton is having a great career return,
and this is a good-looking action flick.
Better Watch Out- On a quiet suburban street, a babysitter must defend a
twelve-year-old boy from intruders, only to discover it's far from a normal
home invasion. I have been hearing good things about this Christmas horror
comedy so I will be glad when Mr. Amazon delivers this to the studio.
