New Release Tuesday

Aquaman- Arthur Curry, the human-born heir to the underwater kingdom of Atlantis, goes on a quest to prevent a war between the worlds of ocean and land.  This just knocked out Wonder Woman for best DC movie so far.  Jason Momoa is awesome casting for this role and I really like the origin story because I did not know that much about Aquaman to begin with.  It is also good to see Dolph Lundgren get some good work.  With this and Creed 2 he had a great year on the big screen.  Highly Recommended.  I ordered this steelbook from Best Buy and picked it up in the store today.  I have not been there in awhile and I probably will not go back as the movie media department is about gone.  This place is forcing you to shop on Amazon because they do not have anything on the shelves to offer.

For a Few Dollars More- Two bounty hunters with the same intentions team up to track down a Western outlaw.  This is the sequel to a Fistful of Dollars and I have bought title this so many times I have lost count but I like Kino Lorber’s take on the other Dollar movies so I will go ahead and add this one to the collection.  I do like that that have been using the original art work on these releases.

Street Fighter- Tough karate master Terry Tsurugi takes it upon himself to protect a late businessman's daughter from the Yakuza.  Man, I have not seen a Street Fight movie since the VHS heydays.  This is a nice-looking collection from Shout Factory.

I Wanna Hold Your Hand- In 1964, six teenagers from New Jersey run off to see The Beatles perform on The Ed Sullivan Show (1948) in the hope of meeting their idols. However, they don't have tickets. Along the way, they learn new things about friendship and growing up.  I have always heard good things about this from then unknown director Robert Zemeckis (Back to the Future, Forest Gump) so now is the time to check this out.  Probably during the next Criterion sale.

Kingdom of Spiders- In rural Arizona, countless killer tarantulas are migrating through a farm town, killing every living thing in their path. The town's veterinarian will do everything in his power to survive the onslaught.  It’s Kirk versus spiders.  What’s not to like?
