Mr. Mom- After
he's laid off, a husband switches role with his wife. She returns to the
workforce, and he becomes a stay-at-home dad, a job he has no clue how to do. This is classic comedy where Michael Keaton
is in his too comedy form and Teri Garr is fabulous in it too. I always name my vacuum Jaws after this
movie.
The Flash
Season 3- After being struck by lightning, Barry Allen wakes up from
his coma to discover he's been given the power of super speed, becoming the
Flash, fighting crime in Central City. I
started on this show a little late but man is it good. I never cared for the Flash in the comics of
cartoons but this live action version is great especially with the villains.
Stick- Ernest
'Stick' Stickley returns from prison, and very soon he gets involved with his
old friend in a drug-running deal that goes sour. Hired by a rich investor, he
tries to walk the line, but trouble follows him throughout as he tries to
collect a debt and make up for lost time with his daughter. Stick also finds a
new flame with a financial wiz and gets set to enjoy a new life, but Chucky and
Nestor, the two hoods who owe him the debt, have other plans for Stick. This has been part of Sony’s burn on demand
line for a while but became a Wal Mart exclusive a couple of months ago and is
now available to the masses. It’s
directed by Reynolds and it had a lot of problems during the production
including Burt re-shooting the second half of the movie. It is a very mediocre action flick but does
have a fantastic stunt of the late Dar Robinson doing a fall off a building
using cables instead of airbag below.
