The Mummy: An
ancient Egyptian princess is awakened from her crypt beneath the desert,
bringing with her malevolence grown over millennia, and terrors that defy human
comprehension. Oh I really had high
hopes on Universal getting their classic monsters resurrected. It had a big budget, a big name in Tom
Cruise, and that may have been the issue.
It seems he may have taken over many things during and after production
and Universal threw him under the bus if he deserved it or not anyway. Reviews are pretty mixed on this but when do
I care about that? It’s almost
Horrorweenathon time so I will be checking this out real soon.
Captain Underpants: Two overly imaginative pranksters named George and Harold
hypnotize their principal into thinking he's a ridiculously enthusiastic,
incredibly dimwitted superhero named Captain Underpants. For what it is I heard
this was really good. Not sure if will
be able to get this one played in the house or not, stay tuned.
It Comes At Night: Secure within a desolate home as an unnatural threat
terrorizes the world, a man has established a tenuous domestic order with his
wife and son. Then a desperate young family arrives seeking refuge. They sale
this as a horror flick and that is what turned a lot of people off but I think
it looks a bit interesting.
E.T.-I am sure everyone has seen this sci-fi flick
about an alien that comes to Earth to eat people. It only made a billion cajillion dollars when
it was released.
