New Release Tuesday

The friendly but forgetful blue tang fish begins a search for her long-lost parents, and everyone learns a few things about the real meaning of family along the way.  I did not even see Finding Nemo until a year or two ago so this was not on my radar but everyone else in the house really enjoyed it and it is on someone’s Christmas list.

I finally got onboard with this show this past year and yeah, it is great.  We get this release early this season since the show is not returning until next summer so I will be spinning this tonight.

A compilation of found footage featuring music, interviews, and stories of The Beatles' 250 concerts from 1963 to 1966.  Director Opie Cunningham has gotten back in the documentary business so this should be pretty good.  I have noticed my son has put a lot of Beatles music or as he called when he was little, “Bug music “on his iPod recently.  The guy has good taste.

The further adventures of Captain James T. Kirk and the crew of the USS Enterprise, as they explore the galaxy and defend the United Federation of Planets.  This show starting airing in 1973 as a continuation of the live show and ran for two seasons for a total of 22 episodes.  It ran in reruns for a long time as I still remember seeing this on Saturday mornings in the early 80s.  This features most of the original cast and I never picked this up on DVD so now is the time to make a pickup of this classic cartoon.

I watched all of Breaking Bad this year and went right in to Better Call Saul to keep up the momentum and to drown out the sorrow of such a great show coming to an end.  This is a worthy spin-off for such a great character and we get to revisit some of Breaking Bad’s past characters so if you liked the original, give this one a spin.
