New Release Tuesday

Cars 3- Lightning McQueen sets out to prove to a new generation of racers that he's still the best race car in the world. The little man in my house has outgrown Cars and has no interest in this one and that makes me kind of sad.  I guess there will not be any more Piston Cups in my house.  When he was little the first time he said that it sounded liked “Pissed in cup”.  Good times.

DC Universe- Wow, it’s been ten years since these WB animated release started.  Most of them are pretty solid and I have them all except the second Green Lantern one.

Into the Light- A discouraged man gets caught up in the dangerous activities of a woman on the run.  This was the first movie director John Landis made after The Twilight Zone: The Movie trial so it features a lot of famous cameos from people supporting the director.  I have never seen it so now would be a good time to check it out.

Overdrive- Two car thief brothers, who journey to the south of France for new opportunities, wind up in the cross hairs of the local crime boss.  Eastwood is back in this foreign Fast and the Furious looking knockoff.  The younger Eastwood is off to quite a start in his career as he is much younger than his old man was before he started to get some beefy roles.

Spanish Chainsaw Massacre-  While touring a heavy metal band breaks down in the desolate countryside and must spend the night in a strange small town.  Little do they know that it is populated by a family of bloodthirsty, cannibalistic maniacs - who are looking for their latest sacrifice to the patron saint who they worship. And they'll stop at nothing until they take the band apart - piece by piece.  You had me at the word chainsaw.
