New Release Tuesday
Overlord- A small group of American soldiers
find horror behind enemy lines on the eve of D-Day. A horror movie set during World War 2? Count me in big time!
A Star is Born- A musician helps a young
singer find fame, even as age and alcoholism send his own career into a
downward spiral. This was a good movie
that has came out too early and has lost all of it Oscar steam and the music is
incredible. Even though this one is a
lot like the ’76 Striesand (Yeah, it is based of that screenplay) this is a
much better version and apparently the fourth time is the charm. This has great direction by Cooper and the
music by Gaga and him will blow you away.
I am not sure if this is a movie that has many multiple viewings in it
but it was great the first time.
Backtrace- The lone surviving thief of a violent
armored car robbery is sprung from a high security facility and administered an
experimental drug. Sly Stallone goes DTV
again as he goes for the big check for a few days work. I am a sucker and still bought it. Bring on Rambo 5!
