The Hollywood Reporter just announced that actor Peter Mayhew will be reprising his role as Chewbecca in Star Wars Episode VII which also was confirmed over the weekend is already filming. This is great news as many figured Chewbecca would return but the rumor was Mayhews's health may have prevented him from taking the role so it looks like he is good to go. See it in December 2015.
