New Release Tuesday

My second favorite Summer movie and one of my comic book favs comes out this week.  I love the origin story of this movie and the casting was superb for this big action flick.  Director Joe Johnson did a really nice job and nailed the 1940's setting of this period pic.  It reminds me of a movie of  his twenty years ago, The Rocketeer.
This is one of the year's best reviewed movies that did not get a wide release here in the states so hopefully it will get some nice business on home video.  This is a throwback to 80s style horror.
This week we get one of those long lost buried treasures from Francis Ford Coppola.  The director actually owns the film and it has not been available for some time so it is nice to finally get a release on this after reading about it for so long.  Stars the great and I guess retired Gene Hackman.

Sons of Anarchy season 4 continues and just keeps getting better, Clay is a bad man,  The Walking Dead came back last week and FX's American Horror Story has been solid so far.  Nice TV viewing going on right now.

The Rangers lead the World Series 3-2 so let's hope they bring it home!  Good luck boys!
