The great character actor Charles Napier passed away last week at the age of 75. He is probably best known for three great roles: Tucker McElroy as the band leader of 'The Good Ol' Boys', Murdock in Rambo: First Blood Part 2, and Lt. Boyle, one of Dr. Hannibal Lector's guards in Silence of the Lambs. A gifted character actor with a fantastic voice was a working actor from the late sixties and still has some credits listed from last year. Chuck will be missed but will always show up in my house quite a bit. Now go have some corn on the cobb with Jake.
