I have heard of this site for years but just never really
took the time to check it out until late last year. Trailers from Hell is a wild ride of a site
to check out trailers from many old and perhaps forgotten films. They are actual movie trailers and they specialize
in horror and exploitation films with commentary voice over from famous
directors, writers, or others from the filmmaking industry and they are known
as “Gurus”. The site launched in 2007
from famed horror director Joe Dante (The Howling, Gremlins) with the help of
others on the technical side.
The site contains hundreds of trailers that can be viewed
alphabetically or by your favorite guru.
I love all the gurus on here but particularly like the commentaries’ by
Dante, directors Edgar Wright, John Landis, and writer Josh Olsen. So if you like classic movies of every genre then
