New Release Tuesday

Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham) seeks revenge against Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) and his family for his comatose brother.  This movie went through a lot with the death of Paul Walker and was even on the brink of being cancelled but it was resurrected half way through production and turned out really good.  These movies are a lot of fun and it has three bald guys in it so it will rock.  This also features the return of the great Kurt Russell.

I first bought the Halloween 6 Producer’s cut back in 2003 and it was a handmade copy with two sets of credits in it and was a VHS transfer but this cut is superior to the theatrical cut. It just feels more like a Halloween movie and has some creepiness to it.  This cut has been in demand for a long time and was finally released last year in Scream Factory’s Ultimate Halloween set but now this single title is available.

An American writer goes to a remote Welsh manor on a $20,000 bet: can he write a classic novel like "Wuthering Heights" in twenty-four hours? Upon his arrival, however, the writer discovers that the manor, thought empty, actually has several, rather odd, inhabitants.  This looks interesting just for the cast of the horror classics Price, Cushing, Lee, and Caradine.

Bond is back.  Spectre comes out in November so it’s time to start watching the world’s most popular Spy movies again.  I bought the big box set last time and swore that would be the last time so I sold all my singles I had on blu.  This is a nice set and there some good looking steelbooks out as well just not for me.
