Moana- In Ancient Polynesia, when a terrible curse
incurred by the Demigod Maui reaches an impetuous Chieftain's daughter's
island, she answers the Ocean's call to seek out the Demigod to set things
right. I absolutely loved this movie
when I saw it at the drive-inn with freezing temps so I will be delighted to
watch it again in the comfort of my own home.

Popcorn- A murderer begins killing off teenagers at a
horror-thon they have organized in an abandoned theater. I saw this for the first time at the
Dismember the Alamo Horrorfest a couple of years and loved it. It was very fitting that we were watching a
horror movie about a horror-thon at a horror-thon. This has been out of print for some time but
Synapse films has released it on blu ray for the first time and in a cool
steelbook.
Colors- An experienced cop and his rookie partner
patrol the streets of East Los Angeles while trying to keep the gang violence
under control. Shout Factory brings us
this classic LA cop story directed by the late, great Dennis Hopper. This features great performances by Robert
Duvall and Sean Penn and the movie filled with many up and coming stars of the
time.
Americans Season 4- A really good show on FX that I
need to get caught up on.
