Chuck Norris stars in this 1982 action horror classic that
basically pits Chuck against Michael Myers.
Chuck stars as a small-town Texas sheriff that does a house call at a
residence with a mental patient. The mental patient is not going to have anything
to do with Chuck (who would) so he tries to escape and is killed by Chuck’s
deputies. The dead mental patient is taken to the local hospital and is resurrected
by doctors using an experimental serum and it turns him into a non-stoppable
killing machine that only Chuck can stop. That is a great flick that is a lot
of fun and it is the closest thing to a horror movie Norris ever made.
Mill Creek Entertainment is debuting this blu ray in a
triple feature package on May 16. Mill
Creek is known for good transfers but usually is short on if not non-existent
on special features so we will see what they have in store for us in May. Why is this on a triple feature? Solo Norris titles on blu ray sell quite well
so I am not sure why Mill Creek felt the need to package this title. Have they not read the Norris Fact’s? Anyway, check this out. It is a must see for all Norris fans.
