I do not watch many shows on TV networks as I will
stream some legally or buy the blu rays so I get true HD and better sound. I was pumped when it was announced a couple
of years ago that Bruce Campbell was coming back as Ash in a TV series. We deserve more Ash than just another 90-minute
movie. This is a great show and a throwback
to the movies being way over the top and really groovy.
At the end of season
one Ash made a truce with Ruby (Lucy Lawless) by giving her the Necronomicon
and everything that goes with it and he got his dream of moving to
Jacksonville, Florida. The truce does
not las long as Ash and the gang are summoned back to Ash’s hometown by Ruby to
get together and form an alliance. Ash
gets a pretty chilly reception from his father and the town folk when he gets
there. A really funny episode with
plenty of slapstick and winks at the camera and Ash’s father is the Six Million
Dollar Man.
