New Release Tuesday

Spider-Man: Homecoming- Peter Parker balances his life as an ordinary high school student in Queens with his superhero alter-ego Spider-Man, and finds himself on the trail of a new menace prowling the skies of New York City.  I missed this at the theater too so this will be spinning this weekend.  I like this take on the Spidey because he is younger and still in high school and Iron Man in anything always helps.

Batman vs Two-Face- Former Gotham City District Attorney Harvey Dent, one side of his face scarred by acid, goes on a crime spree based on the number '2'. All his actions are decided by the flip of a defaced, two-headed silver dollar.  This will be the last time we hear Adam West play Batman and that is a sad thing.  I am glad the WB brought back the classic Batman so we could have West and Burt Ward be the dynamic duo a couple of more times.  William Shatner voices Two-Face in this adventure as this classic villain never appeared on the live action show.  He was supposed to in season four but the show was cancelled.  And you know who was going to play him?  Yep this guy:

Oh, what could have been.

Rawhead Rex- Ireland will never be the same after Rawhead Rex, a particularly nasty demon, is released from his underground prison by an unwitting farmer. The film follows Rex's cross-country rampage, while a man struggles to stop it.  I have never seen this and the movie has quite the reputation so maybe I will pick it up when the price is good again.

Three O’Clock High- A nerd gets himself in hot water with the new bully, a quiet bad boy who challenges him to fight on the grounds of their high school after the day's end.  Another cult classic but I think I saw this one back in the day.  This is from Shout Factory’s Select line so it will look and sound great and will be packed full of goodies.
